Apples
A Henderson County farm wouldn’t be complete without Apples and we’ve got ’em! We grow 27 varieties of the finest apples in the world on our family farm. Yep, we’ve even got Honeycrisp! For baking, we recommend one of our Rome or Mutsu varieties. Buy a bushel then take a look at our recipes page for some creative ways to celebrate the pride of Henderson County!
Peaches
Yes, we grow peaches in NC too! Our peaches are grown right on the farm in the mountains of WNC. We have over 20 varieties that start to ripen in early July and continue to October. Sweet, juicy, and delicious, this classic summer and fall fruit is a favorite!
Asian Pears
Asian Pears grown in the mountains of NC! Add to a salad or eat ’em on your way home from the market – you’ll love the way they taste!
Ginger
Here’s a unique one for you! We are one of the largest ginger producers in NC. Spice up your next dish with our wonderful, fresh ginger. Local restaurants clamor to get their hands on it – you can too! Want a special treat? Ask about our Homemade Ginger Ale!
Cabbage
This leafy addition to our harvest makes for a great healthy choice! Make the freshest coleslaw you’ve ever had and rest easy knowing your family is getting the nutrients they need!
Corn
Another great addition to your next summer barbeque! We have bi-color, white, and yellow varieties available.
Tomatoes
Summer’s finest – now available in Fall! Vine ripened, homegrown tomatoes. Slice ’em, chop ’em, cook ’em or eat ’em like an apple – they’re delicious no matter how you like ’em!
Green Beans
We grow fresh, Flat Top mountain and other heirloom green bean varieties. Snap ’em up while you can!
Figs
If you have never tasted fresh figs then you are missing out! While they thrive in this area, fresh figs can be hard to find. We have ’em! They fly off the shelves quickly though, so get ’em while supplies last!
